PolyCon XVII

We have recovered from the wonderful time we had at PolyCon. Response to Golem was great and we answered many questions about the Bride of Golem expansion.

There was excellent participation in the Golem tournament (see picture above). Congratulations goes out to Aldarian Chesnik (picture on right) for winning the tourney and proving himself a superior mad scientist! He always had a rabbit to pull out of his lab coat and the right card to play in any situation. The force was definitely with him that day.

The PolyCon XV promotional card

In the summer of 1997, Rhino Ventures sponsored a Golem tournament at PolyCon XV. All of the participants received a Golem card featuring the dragon head of the PolyCon mascot to add to their sets. The art for the card was done by John Kusters. The head has a value of 4. Since "PolyCon XV" is its own element, the golem on which it is used will not be pure.

Unfortunately we are out of these cards, but we hope to have another promotion like this at a future convention.
